These are always hard stories to read as an adoptive mother. As hard as they are, I can’t imagine how difficult living this and reliving it in your writing must be. But thank you for reminding me, as an adoptive mother, of the pain that must run deep in my daughter’s birth mother. I need to honour it as well as my daughter’s pain.
